CleanZone 2.5mm In-Adaptor Ferrule Cleaner.

The Cleanzone is a battery powered hand tool designed to clean the end face of ferrules either within an adaptor or on the end of a patch cord. The Cleanzone tool has two parts, the ECU, a handle which contains the batteries and electonic control unit, and the cleaning cartridge. The cleaning cartridge is a disposable device which is available in two sizes, one for the 1.25mm LC/MU type ferrule and the other for the 2.5mm SC/FC/ST type ferrule. There are a range of interchangable tips that allow you to clean different connector types and also patch cords.

Operation is simple and fast. Attach the correct tip to the end of the cartridge, insert tip into adaptor and squeeze the trigger to start a two second cleaning cycle that is effective on both UPC and APC finishes. When the cartridge is exhausted you can remove it from the ECU and replace with a new one. The ECU can be used on either the 1.25mm or 2.5mm cartridge.
